Description of Modules Available in WRMS
A. WinterPlan
WinterPlan Basic
includes the functionality to:
- manually set up or supplement roadway networks
- edit road data
- present the roadway network on a background map
- graphically define a planning area
- define overlapping planning areas
- set up base data, including drivers, vehicles, equipment, materials, etc.
- define different types of actions with different action spans
- plan in a schematic map, which gives consideration to action span
- adjust the schematic map to improve overviews
- during planning view length and forecast completion time for a route, expected material consumption, and split between actual time of action and travel time
- view the split between action times and material consumption for all routes in an action
- control that all parts of an area are included in an action
- control that no parts of the roadway network by mistake is duplicated or overlapping
- document planned actions in detailed route reports
- work on several planning areas simultaneously
- print base data reports
- print action and route reports
- print time, distance and material charts
Requirement: WinterPlan Import or WinterPlan Customized Import
WinterPlan Import
includes the functionality to:
- import road network including nodes, links and intersections
- supplement existing data and to update existing data
- export road network including nodes, links and intersections
- check road network consistency
This module includes work by Enera to set up and perform the initial import of client's data.
Requirement: WinterPlan Basic
WinterPlan Customized Import
As an alternative to WinterPlan Import Enera can offer a WinterPlan Customized Import for more frequent importing of road networks.

WinterPlan Supervision
includes the functionality to:
- continually present and follow reported information, linked to the planned routes, in the schematic map
- edit reported actions
- print job reports
- print summary of reported route actions
- print summary of actions, material and time consumption on selections of links
Requirement: WinterPlan Basic and Call & Report Basic
B. Call & Report
Call & Report Basic
includes the functionality to:
- report action taken plus reason and responsible supervisor
- report actions with information about driver, route, measure taken and result. Start and Stop times are logged and Action time is calculated automatically
- view basic presentation of latest route actions
- view historical presentation with selection possibilities on areas, actions, routes, methods and drivers

Call & Report RoadView
includes the functionality to:
- present summary of actions in a geographical map
- edit reported actions
- print job reports
- print summary of reported route actions
- print summary of actions, material and time consumption on selections of links
C & R RoadView has the capability to display background layers of ESRI "shape" format.
Requirement: Call & Report Basic and WinterPlan Basic
Call & Report Road Conditions
includes the functionality to:
- report road condition for road condition areas
- define road condition areas
- present road conditions in a geographical map
- display road conditions historically
C & R Road Conditions has the capability to show background layers of ESRI "shape" format.
Requirement: Call & Report Basic
C. RapidReach
RapidReach
contains the functionality to:
- define call-out groups, sections/routes and messages
- set up scenarios for different weather conditions/events
- call regular phones, cellular phones, alpha/numerical pagers, fax and email
- send voice messages and request response/confirmation
- call out primaries and secondaries in a position (for a route or for a vehicle)
- call several phone numbers for each person
- log responses to learn who is responding and who is accepting the assignment
- monitor Call-Outs in real-time, make manual adjustments, and document the Call-Out with time and date, phone numbers used, message received, and responses
- start Call-Outs remotely via telephone
- print a number of different reports
- import personnel data via ASCII text files
RapidReach is available in two version, RR-Standard and RR-Pro. RR-Standard is a 4-line stand-alone, single-user system. RR-Pro is a 4-line network system with license for 3 users. RR-Pro also includes a scheduling feature, allowing you to schedule staff and call out according to duty schedule.
